What is Microworkers?

Microworkers is an innovative, International online platform that connects Employers and Workers from around the world. Our unique approach guarantees Employers that a task paid is a task successfully done, while Workers that successfully complete a job get paid.
The tasks assigned to Workers and paid for by Employers are simple and quick, mostly completed in a few minutes, thus they are called "microjobs”. These tasks include simple Sign ups, social bookmarking tasks, forum participation, website visits, rating contents, adding comments, suggesting leads, creating backlinks, writing reviews or articles, downloading applications, testing websites and so much more.
Joining Microworkers is free, and as an International site, anyone from any country can be a member.

Who are the Employers?

Anyone can be an Employer. If you own an online business, a blog, a video channel or simply need referrals for your favorite programs, Microworkers is definitely the place to come and have your small tasks assigned to tens of thousands of active Workers who are always ready to complete your job.
Whether you need traffic for your website, comments or a fresh post for your blog, bookmarks or Likes for a video you want to be popular, or testing and review for your new application, hiring Workers from our program ensures you affordable, quick and top quality results.

Who are the Workers?

Anyone can also be a Worker. You can be a stay-at-home mom, a student who needs extra spending money, or if you simply love helping others while making some extra cash alongside, this is the place for you. Joining Microworkers as a Worker does not mean you are employed by the site. Instead, you will be working as a freelancer. With that, you can work as much or as little as you want. At the same time, your potential for earning is also limitless since you can accept all the jobs you believe you are capable of completing, and get paid for them.

Can I be a Worker and Employer at the same time?

Absolutely, signing up to Microworkers allows you take "microjobs". At the same time, when you have projects (campaigns) you wish to run, you can use the same account to do so. You simply have to click on the Start a Campaign option, and post your job. What's more, you can use your earnings as a Worker to fund your campaign as an Employer.

I am a Worker...

Can I have more than one account?

No. There is no need to maintain more than one account and it is against Microworkers' Guidelines. If you've lost your login information, you can request to have it sent to your Email address. If you are caught having more than one account, your account(s) will be terminated, your IP address(es) will be banned, your payments will be forfeited and you can no longer participate in Microworkers' program in the future.

How do I earn money?

If you wish to look for "microjobs", click on the Tasks link and browse through the hundreds of listed tasks. Each task will display a set of instructions, the time to complete it and the amount you will earn for finishing the job. If you believe you can finish the task, click on Accept to accept this job, and the page will display a form where you can enter the proof required by the Employer. Otherwise, click on Cancel if you do not wish to perform the job.

What is a Success Rate and why do I need to maintain it?

The Microworkers Success Rate ensures Employers that they get quality results from the campaigns they are running. This feature prevents workers from posting spam or fake proofs, and low-quality output of the tasks they perform.
Poorly performed tasks will give you a negative rating and will pull your Success Rate down. To maintain a high Success Rate, make sure to only accept tasks you are capable of completing.

I have been misrated by my Employer. What should I do?

If you believe you have been misrated for a job that is properly completed, let us know and we will look into the issue. Just open the task details page and click on the "Create a Complain" link. After reviewing your claims, we will credit your account with the amount due to you. Otherwise, if the Employer gave you a negative rating for an appropriate reason, you will not be credited. Microworkers will maintain a fair approach in dealing with work disputes and will be looking after to what is best for both Employers and Workers.

Where can I view the jobs I have completed?

Once the Worker submits a proof, the job will appear in the list of Finished Tasks. Tasks not yet rated by Campaign owners (Employers) are listed under "Submitted Tasks". Tasks that have been rated can be viewed under the "Rated Tasks" tab. A comment is available for each task describing if it was rated with "satisfied" or "not satisfied".

Where can I view my earnings and account activity?

If you want to view your account transactions, click on the Account tab from the top menu. The page will display your personal information and account details. To view your earnings, click on the “All Transactions” link under the Transactions section (lower left). To view your deposits, click on the “Transactions (Deposits)” link. To view your withdrawal history, click on the Withdraw link from the top menu. All withdrawals with the corresponding Date, Withdrawal method, Status and Amount will be listed in the page.
Your account's current balance is displayed on the top section of your page.

How and when do I get paid?

Once the Employer reviews your submitted task and approves it, the amount assigned for that particular job is automatically added to your account balance. If an Employer fails to rate tasks, his campaign will automatically close and the submitted tasks will be rated "Satisfied" by the system after the assigned Time-to-rate period (number of days set by the Employer to allow him to rate tasks). Likewise, the assigned amounts for the closed tasks will be credited to the Workers' accounts.
When your earnings reach $9, you will be allowed to place a withdrawal request. To do so, click on the Withdraw tab from the top menu, and then click on the ‘Place a New Withdrawal Request’ link. You can choose a withdrawal method between Paypal, or Skrill (Moneybookers), as well as the amount you only wish to withdraw. For US citizens a withdrawal via Dwolla is also possible.
More payment options will be available in the future. Announcements will be made once they are implemented. All payments are made in USD.
Payments to Workers are sent twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday.

What is a Microworkers PIN?

Withdrawals require a PIN in order to be activated. Your PIN is mailed to your home/mailing address after placing first withdrawal request. This is an automated process. The reason why PIN is mailed to one’s mailing address is to ensure that all Workers are verified, thus, preventing multiple accounts. Once the PIN is mailed, such status will be displayed in your account and a link will appear on your page where you may enter your PIN once it is received.
After such is completed, your withdrawals will be activated.
***Note that the PIN process is only performed for the first withdrawal request and will no longer be repeated once your withdrawals are activated.
PIN delivery can take between 1-4 weeks, depending on your mailing service and location.
Please ensure you have entered your correct mailing address. An option to request a new PIN is displayed in your page if such is not received. A $2 fee will be deducted from your account balance if you opt to request a new PIN.
For succeeding withdrawals, a withdrawal PIN to one’s email is sent in order to complete the withdraw request.

Can I use my earnings to run my own campaign?

Certainly, simply click on Campaigns from the top menu then select between Basic or Hiregroup campaigns. Then click on the Create a new Campaign option to post your job.

I am an Employer...

How do I start my Campaign?

Go to your Campaigns page, click on the Create a new Campaign option, and post your job. To describe your campaign, put in an appropriate Title, select a Category, and give a list of instructions for the Workers to follow and the proof you require to ensure the job is completed. You can choose to run your campaign to US Workers or International Workers.
Then put in the number of minutes a Worker must need to finish the job and the number of positions you are willing to pay for. The page automatically displays the total cost of your campaign for you to make adjustments, if necessary.
All campaigns submitted are reviewed for approval before displayed to the Workers. Be sure to include all details about the campaign with clear and easy-to-understand steps.

Basic Campaign VS Hiregroup Campaigns

"Hire Group" Campaigns are different than "Basic" Campaigns. When you run a "Basic" Campaign, you cannot select Workers; every available Worker in the system will be able to accept your job. This type of Campaign is suitable for easy tasks such as Voting, Searching, Liking a Facebook page, etc.
"Hire Group" Campaigns allow you to assign jobs only to Workers of your choice. You can create Groups of Workers and assign tasks to that particular Group. If you want more Workers to perform your required task, you can simply add more to the Group even while your campaign is active. You can search for good Workers, sort by different criteria and hire only Best Workers.
When your campaign requires different information to be displayed to each Worker, you have the option to upload a CSV file (spreadsheet) and assign individual Workers with a different task/variable. Please refer to the following page for guidelines on uploading a CSV file: https://microworkers.com/csv.php
"Hire Group" campaigns are recommended for more advanced jobs such as: Tagging Images, Checking Websites, Writing Articles, Writing Reviews, Posting to Forums, Creating Blog Posts with Backlinks, etc.
Note that the cost per task under Hiregroup section is the same with Basic.

My campaign is Pending Review and I wish to Cancel it

Should you want to Cancel a campaign before it is activated in the system, simply click on the Cancel link in your individual campaigns page. Funds locked for the campaign will then be credited back to your account.

What is a Campaign Speed?

The "Speed" box is where you can indicate how fast you want your campaign to run. This is one of the best features of Microworkers. You can set your Speed between 1 to 1000 (1 being the slowest and 1000 as the fastest), which you can modify anytime during your campaign. This feature gives you more control over your campaigns and the results you expect.
As an additional feature to allow better control of your campaigns, Microworkers implemented a Pause and Resume option.

How do I fund my campaign?

Click on the "Deposit" link from the top menu. You can fund your campaign using any of these available payment processors:
Automated Deposit:
- Credit Card
Money will be available in your account immediately after you confirm the transaction.
Manual Deposit:
- Skrill (Moneybookers)
- Dwolla (only for US citizens)
Please include your Microworkers ID when sending payment. After you have sent the money, send open a Support ticket with subject "Money Deposit" so we can process it immediately.
There is no deposit fee.
If you would like to deposit large amount of money, please contact us.

I wish to add more positions to my currently running Campaign

No problem. Microworkers has a wonderful feature that allows Employers to add more positions to their campaign even while it is on progress. That will save you a lot of time and trouble of having to begin another campaign and wait for it to be approved.
Simply access your campaigns page, choose the campaign you want to add positions to, type in the number of positions you wish to add, and click on the Add positions link.

What is TTR (Time-to-Rate)?

TTR is number of days set by the Employer to allow him to rate tasks. Basic tasks should be set around 1-7 days since the Workers submissions may already be verified within the period. Should you wish to set your TTR beyond seven days, please provide a valid reason for such.

How do I Rate my Workers?

Microworkers has implemented a system that allows checking and rating campaigns more manageable for you.
Go to your campaigns page and choose the campaign you wish to review. Click on the Tasks tab and a list of all submitted proofs will be displayed in a single page. You do not have to individually open each task to check the proof.
With the Select All box, approving several tasks can be done with just a single click. However, should you prefer to approve each task one by one, you can always do so.
A "Satisfied" rating automatically transfers the fund you have set aside to each individual Worker's account. You would only be paying for tasks you rate "Satisfied".
Should you find a submitted proof unacceptable, please click on the task ID. A box will open. Enter your reason for declining the task and click Submit
Alternatively, you may enter a message on the same box instructing the Worker how to correct his task.
Once the correction has been completed by the Worker, you may reverse your 'Not Satisfied Rating' for the Worker to 'Satisfied' by using our 'Reverse a Task' feature.
No tasks should remain open for a long period of time. If you forget to rate your Workers' tasks, they will automatically be closed by the system and will be rated "Satisfied" after the Time-to-rate period.

I do not have time to Verify the tasks submitted to me.

Microworkers’ VCODE verification process allows you to verify proof and rate users as soon as they complete the task. This feature can be used if your websiteprovide users with a payment code for verification.
You can learn more about VCODE feature here on our blog at:
http://www.blog.microworkers.com/vcode-verification/
Please find details about Vcode implementation here:
https://microworkers.com/vcode.php
Please note the Vcode formats are different for Basic and HG campaigns.

How do I reverse a Task Rating?

In cases where a Worker has corrected a previously wrong submission or if you believe you have mistakenly given a Not Satisfied rating to a deserving Worker, you may reverse your task rating using our Reverse feature.
This feature is only available under Basic Campaigns and only for reversing 'Not Satisfied" tasks to "Satisfied'. To do this, click the blue 'Reverse' link on the right part of your Basic campaigns page.
Only 200 tasks can be processed at a time. Simply enter the Task ID of the Task you wish to reverse ratings (one per line, or separated by space or commas), add an Optional message on the extra box below, then click on the 'Reverse tasks' button.

What happens if I decide to stop my campaign?

Should you want to end your campaign even before all available positions has run out, simply click on the Stop link in your campaigns page. When that happens, funds for the unused positions will be credited back to your account.
